Ready, set, go!!!

A little bit about me....

Back in 1985, I was 5 at the time, standing in my living room, I was singing the entire Céline Dion's album.... I grew up, loved my music classes in school, was told to shut up by a little boy who thought I was singing too loud.... I dreamed and dreamed... I was tall and skinny, too skinny and too tall in a lot of people's opinion. I felt incomfortable in my own body, like most teenagers do! My self esteem was broken...

I went to university and would only sing when I was drunk or alone in my room.

I started my family, gave my kids all my time and energy, which I don't regret one bit!

We moved, I met new people and then my musical journey really began.

My son's piano teacher, a rock/pop choir, local musicians,a virtual singing contest... and then I witnessed my first live jazz performance and fell in love...

It took all the courage I had in my body to approach some of the best musicians in my province and ask them if they wanted to make music with me...we had our first show in April 2022, I was 41!!!

Since then, I've perfomed 27 times, will be part of a beautiful big production at the end of October and signed with an agency!!!

I'm ready for whatever the futur has in store for me. I've worked so hard to face all my insecurities, my fears, to accept myself, to find my voice and to listen to that little girl's voice inside my head, that kept begging me to let her live her dream.

I was told a few times that a Jazz musician plays a thousand chords for 4 people while a rock musician plays 4 chords for a thousand people...Well, I proved them wrong, and I'm far from being done...

Follow my beautiful journey but most of all, follow your dreams...If I can do it, so can you
